I feel incredibly lucky to have been under the care of Mr Arambage for the surgical excision of my endometriosis. I had suspected endometriosis following a provisional diagnosis declared by my GP, and was therefore seeking specialist advice and care to ensure it was managed in the best possible way. After an initial consultation, Mr Arambage and his secretary, Fiona, were both very quick to schedule my surgery, ensuring a thorough pre-op assessment, whilst helping me to navigate it all safely around the Covid-19 pandemic. I felt reassured throughout, from consultation through to post-op follow up, and it was Mr Arambage's empathy, unwavering commitment of time, kindness and transparency that I very much felt and appreciated. I had also spent quite a bit of time reading and studying endometriosis, and his approach and treatment solutions aligned to what I'd read in publications from the world's leading endometriosis consultants. This is reflective of his expertise, and commitment to research in endometriosis and related conditions. Thank you to Mr Arambage and his team for such professional, insightful and supportive care.

I had a total laparoscopic vaginally-assisted hysterectomy with Dr Arambage in Sept 2020. I had a telephone consultation first where Dr Arambage listened and gave me his advice, following a transfer of my case from another consultant. I had previously had a diagnosis of adenomyosis and endometriosis and was trying the Mirena coil but after 12 months and an earlier laparoscopy, I felt I wasn't seeing much improvement. Having tried other medications and pain killers in the past, we agreed that a hysterectomy may offer me a more longer term solution for my pain and bowel problems (period related). I was very nervous but Dr Arambage and his team helped put me at ease (as too did his secretary Fiona, the day before surgery). He is a very knowledgeable, professional and kind doctor, who genuinely wants to help and I do feel lucky to have been a patient of his. Three months on, and although recovery has been tough, I am feeling more positive with much reduced pain. My bowel pain so far has also been so much better, now that I am nolonger having periods. I am aware endometriosis can come back, but I'm feeling more hopeful about the future. Thank you Dr Arambage and Fiona. Also, Dr Arambage called my husband after surgery to give him an update - a lovely, personal touch.

I found his care and attention second to none. He was very approachable and put me at ease when I was scared. At all times I felt in very capable hands and I cannot recommend him more highly for his kindness, surgical skill and aftercare. Thank you Mr Arambage for everything.
